That doesn't happen for me. The scrolling continues as it should, even during the momentum phase of the scroll.
That's the way it used to be for me. I don't know when it broke or what might have caused it.

Wow - Godfather is great.
I played it solidly from 11am on Saturday until 2am on Sunday, hardly pausing for food even. Why would anyone want to play GTA when you can play something similar with a much better plot and characters?

They have pulled the action figure after getting a Cease and Desist order from Apple. Grrrr!
If anyone got one shipped before they put the kabash on them, you just made a mint. Will be a phenomenal collectible that will now be a very seriously limited edition!

You'll find out at WWDC what the final version will be.
I doubt it, WWDC is likely to be devoted to iPhone 5 with iOS 5. Apple is likely to do a small special media event for Lion like the Lion Preview event last year.

I never had this problem before. I'm in a few forums. A lot of times I took a picture from google images, copied them, then pasted it to the forum using Image.
Now when I click copy. My Mac makes that "clunking" sound and won't paste. What's up with that?
The IMG tags are only for images that already appear on the web. What you place between the image tags is the URL to the image location. (Be sure to use TIMG instead of IMG for large images). For images that exist on your computer, simply click the paperclip icon when composing a post and attach the image.

I'd suggest that you add some screenshots at every step, at least it'll be easier to follow and gives people reassurance that they're on the right track.
I agree on this one for fresh mac users picture can help me more then text :) but joke aside nice guide

I have a Dell laptop now with a 30gb drive and have barely 5gb filled. I don't think having a 40gb in my iBook will be a big problem.
My iBook's 37GB (40GB before format) fills up really quick.
OSX Tiger alone takes up approximately 10GB unless you do a custom install and leave off the language packs and printer drivers.
An external drive would be nice because I would like to share files between computers.
Internal drives can also share files between computers.

I don't sync the contacts via iTunes anymore. There is some sync issue with the contacts that I couldn't solve, so we went to put his contacts in the cloud instead.
The issue is that despite the (exchange) contacts being synced over-the-air, when you save a contact in the iphone via the dialer/recent-calls, it goes into the iPhone's local contact list by default, instead of into the exchange group. :/

Is it true the Thunderbolt ports taking the place of the HDMI ports in the 2010 model that you no longer can view the computer screen contents such as photos etc. on a TV like we can with the iPad2?

I've stopped using my Casio Exlim. It is a great camera, but it is just so much more convenient to use my iPhone when the quality is almost the same. Plus the video on the iPhone is so much better, so I figure why bother.

Interesting, very interesting! Let's hope they also will bring out a version for the G5's. Also the folding on GPU's is coming quite well. Let's hope our electric bills don't go up when you have a dual/quad folding and two X1900 in SLI mode! :D
BTW Macaholic, how did you get sooooo much folding power?!? And are you folding for Team MR?!?

Does anyone know if you can use two iTunes accounts (or AAC files from two different accounts) in the same iTunes library and on one iPod? I think I've found that the iPod really doesn't care about the AAC protection, it just plays it, but what about my iTunes library? I guess what I am really asking is can one computer be authorized to play music from multiple iTunes accounts?

If you have parameters in a URL to curl, the URL needs to be quoted.
curl 'http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-id?Ident=XXX&NbIdent=1&Radius=2&Radius.unit=arcmin&submit=submit+id' > simbadout.txt
curl 'http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-id?Ident=XXX&NbIdent=1&Radius=2&Radius.unit=arcmin&submit=submit+id' > simbadout.txt

I suppose, but I still don't dance on mondays, tuesdays, and either friday, saturday.
5 times a week is my limit, I don't want to hurt myself or anything. :p
I don't have to worry about hitting that though. Mondays and Tuesdays are very busy days for me, and I usually pass out at the end of the day.

I forgot, that the Mini DisplayPort is transmitting only a digital signal and Component is analog.
The DVI adapter you use is not converting from digital to analog, as DVI can also transmit analog signals and the adapter you use may "look" for the analog part, but it is not there. You may need a converter like this (http://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-TV-PCCT-VGA-Component-Converter/dp/B002R35ID2/ref=sr_1_12?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1300912099&sr=1-12) and a MDP to VGA adapter from MonoPrice.
Some additional info:
Mini DisplayPort (MDP) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mini_DisplayPort)
Mini DisplayPort is the current digital standard on all current Macs to transfer video to an external display or TV. It has been introduced in 10/2008 with the release of the Unibody MacBook and MacBook Pros and has gradually been adopted on all other Macs.
MDP is capable of transmitting video, and since audio too. MDP is a miniaturised version of DisplayPort. It is also license free and can support resolutions of up to 2560 x 1600, which Mini DVI and Micro DVI are not able to do.
