Did you find a solution?
I also have a PB 10.3.8 and experience exactly the same problem with MAIL.
Cheers

Personally, I wouldn't bother with ssd, for the price it is just not necessary. I use my macbook almost exclusively for W7 and it runs very well no speed problems accessing files etc. I too tried to install W7 without bootcamp and even os x but found it was too much bother, much easier with BC.

You either loved or hated the puck. If it was clean, it felt great to use. I still have them and use one on the blueberry iMac I have in the garage. I personally liked it a lot.
Same here.
Liked the puck mouse. :)

Apple rodents were better in those days :( Although I'm pretty certain I've used generic PC mice ever since I first had a Mac with a USB port. I never did fit into the single mouse button mindset.
Even if the ball did need cleaning in the hockey puck, at least you could do so easily. Most of the Mighty Mice I meet won't scroll up any more, and I never could get used to having to lift my left finger off the mouse to right click. My dad got fed up and disassembled his to clean it out properly the other day, but I'm sure it'll stop working again within a few weeks. :(

Why not just use Migration Assistant? I used that to transition my wife from an old PowerBook G4 to a MacMini and it was really simple. There were a few quirks since the other was such an old computer using a PowerPC chip, but it made the whole process really simple. I'm now kicking myself for not doing that when I bought my MacPro back in 2009.

Kyle,
I destroyed the case on my previous PB trying to swap the drive. It was awful, and you are so correct the PBFixit, does such a poor job in explaining this part. Thans for the tip!

I was stocking games today at work and I noticed a few games that are new release.
Wii:
Godfather
Cooking Mama
Blazing Angels
PS2 and PSP:
Test Drive Unlimited (YESSS!!!)
PS3:
Godfather
And a few other NDS games. Forgot what they were.
Anybody know about these titles specifically the Wii ported games?

Thanks all. Pic #1 is actually a sunrise. First one I'd seen in awhile :D. I think I'm just going to stick to this being a hobby. I use Aperture3 for my library, and I'll definitely play around with the post-processing features. Didn't use them for any of the posted photos. Thanks for all the advice!

The operating system is in the ROM, right? No need for a floppy OS or something?
Correct. It has a BASIC interpreter that is available without any other startup operations like the other computers of the day. Though there are a couple of different Disk Operating Systems you can use, if you want to go that route. But they're not necessary.
Does the computer need a mouse? In my reading, it seems like it doesn't.
No.
It only had two cards inside: the 5.25 floppy card and what I think was the RAM. Does it need anything else to operate (i.e. a video card)?
No. The RCA jack on the back is composite video; it'll plug into any video-in source on a monitor.
Lastly, are there any things I didn't think of that I should know??
Try stuff out here:

Any sweet games for it on eBay?
I guess that's for you to determine.

Understood. In the future, you can add the editing template to an article while you're editing it to warn others not to. Usage is as follows (this automatically adds your name and the current date & time):
Thanks for the added clarification and understanding. I (as usual) overreacted, but I could tell (from your first reply in PM) that your intentions were not hostile. I will remember to use the editing code next time I post up a new guide.
Thanks again for the assistance, and I have learned some valuable wiki experience that should help avoid these types of transactions in the future.
Your help, understanding, and patience is greatly appreciated!
