My little 1gb shuffle works great as a key and as a place for music. I store my important documents, my software keys, a copy of my encryption/decryption software for my keys, and I still have room for music and audio books.

You phone searching for a tower to "talk" to is VERY hard on the battery. This is likely your major problem.

thats what I thought it was, I will have to put it into airplane mode more to solve this problem, but I still do believe there is a problem with the battery so I will do a restore for good measure just to be sure.

Thanks everyone. I bought the case with the intention of taking it with me when I go jogging, sport training, to the beach and other places where their is a risk of damaging the phone so it sounds like the otter box is ideal for me.

I don't mind if it makes it a little thicker. My iPhone 4 has it's own pocket so I probably won't notice a difference.

Interesting update, for those that care/may be wondering. As a test, I grabbed a 2 GB Ram stick from my laptop and placed it in one of the free slots on my iMac. Computer now reports 6 GB RAM installed, but the 2 x 2GB already installed now underclock to 1067. It seems that Ram will always run as fast as the slowest installed. Still, 6 GB @ 1067 has to be better than 4 GB @ 1333, right?

I'm curious about this question too... I have the same situation but I have 8gb of RAM... what's better to have 8gb at 1067 or 4gb at 1333?

Make sure you're getting RetinaPad for the official source. If you try to use a cracked or unauthorized version, then it will not work. My friend tried using the cracked version and all of his iPhone apps crashed when installed. I told him I'm using the officika paid tweak, he went ahead and bought it and it works perfectly.

I also'd like to see a "Freeware", "Commercial", "Shareware" category.

So, a single software app, like iTunes, could say:

[[Category: Freeware]]

and Photoshop:

[[Category: Graphics]]
[[Category: Commercial Software]]

(I think the "Third Party" categories are unnecessary. They don't add value to someone searching for information, unless someone's coming along looking for something specifically non-Apple)

Are you saying that you are not impressed by this feature just because it doesn't fit YOUR need, even though you emphasize that it works very well if you have a small screen (most Mac users have the laptop)?


Runs smooth as butter on my 11" 2GB machine.

I am saying that this feature isn't very important to me. I know that for people with relative small displays or other needs, that full screen is a good idea (as I said before).
I am still giving Full screen mode a chance. I have been using mail and Safari in full screen the whole day and I am trying to find reasons to use it, but I think it doesn't fit in my workflows.

assuming the express is of the newer "N" kind, it needs to be configured to extend the network created by the TC.

also make sure the TC is set to allow this network to be extended.

nope, the N ones will do it in join mode too, i don't use it this way, but i have tried it. My main base is a linksys running dd-wrt, i've had the express join that network, and was able to get online via ethernet.


I am trying to extend my wireless network via an ethernet cable.

you're using the terms for 2 different things put together, are you trying to ...

1. time capsule ----Wireless----> airport express ---Wired---> computer

A lot of the times if you don't properly drive a high impedance can, a lot of its sound won't be as tight and crisp as it should, so it's not just the volume output. I remember the first time I heard a high quality tube amp on a HD650 in a store, it was the first time it made a song I really know and like have a bass that sounded like an actual kick drum rather than a soft boom boom noise, I was pretty amazed.Yup, I was really surprised when I started using a headphone amp for the first time. Its a powerful difference.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Have you plugged your hd650's into a mbp? How did it sound?

At least the eject button for my CF card is not called "Rewind". :p



LOL! You could have at least linked me to something fun! :D :p

"Eject" on my VCR is the same as "Eject" on my CD/DVD.
My DVR uses the same symbols for FF and Rewind as my VCR.
Your CF/SD cards are just flash RAM. Flash RAM is just a whole lot of capacitors. Maybe we should call them all "caps".
Is digital camera even a camera? My first digital and my current P&S have the on switch marked "Record".

Ok, here is the issue. I have a MacBook Pro 15 inch 2.4 Core 2 Duo (late 2007 model) with 6GB of RAM (DDR2 667). I don't know how to explain this because I am so pissed! Ok so let me try. Take a look at this screenshot.

It says Used 5.97GB and Inactive 2.07GB. WTF? why cant it release that 2.07GB? I cant open other apps because there is only 28.6MB of memory FREE.. I know the Inactive Memory is there so it helps the frequently opened apps to start faster.. but what if I want to open apps that I don't frequently open?

WTF do I do? Is there something screwed up in my OS or is this how OS X manage memory?:mad:
