How can ur case be preadjudicated, yet not assigned to an officer. For my wife's case wea re told several times that her case is not preadjudicated but is with an officer. My case is approved and the officer I talked to said that it seems that her case is with the same officer who approved my case...and that her case is pending possibly becoz of biom issues on my and her case...she said she is sending a request to upload the biom again...wait for 2 weeks...not sure if there will be any positive result but what can we do other that WAIT

Simmer guys - sorry to cause ripples here.
By "those people" I mean the people that come to the forums only to either track which mail room boy signed for a package, or argue about who bad the inactivity of movement on a Priority Date movement would be.
"Those people" are not here to contribute, they aren't here to help anyway. They aren't interested in meeting their lawmakers, or attending a rally.
In all honesty, "those people", who are busy tracking not predicting probably don't give 2 hoots about bulletins anymore, they are content with 10 years of EAD / AP renewals but doing nothing to change that.
Its a gross generalization, of course, but I apologize if people took that as offensive. Sometimes the truth is a little annoying.
I was working at the rally for 4 days, and was checking the forums in my spare time still. Those tracking threads sure looked very active throughout the whole thing, despite a comparative hand full of IV members were working very hard to actually make change.

I want to bring my wife on H4.
Its been 2 months since I am in US and I have been working since last month i.e. as of now I have only 1 paystub.
Will this be enough for her H4 stamping in INDIA.

You need atleast 2-3 paystubs, employment verification letter from employer, bank statements with a decent balance etc among other documents.
I want to bring my wife on H4.

yea i hope USCIS completely cleanses the system and gets things back to the way it was pre - 2000
except for mayb 5% of the bodyshoppers ( i could be wrong as i'm not frm IT , have friends who tell me etc) rest all 95% commit fraud to some degree or the other
they need to be weeded out
Look, the H1 quota was not sufficient even when it was set at 115,000 pre-2000. It was only when it was set to 195,000 in 2001 that the quota exceeded demand. Now thanks to the report by USCIS last year, we know that about 20% of the H applications had fraud or technical violations. Even if you assume that the USCIS does a perfect job and catches this 20%, the quota that will be freed up won't be enough for the rest of the applicants.
The issues we face have less to do with fraud and more to do with the anti-immigration forces who dislike the 1965 immigration law. Claiming fraud, cheap labor, harm to the environment from increased population are just convenient means to couch opposition to permanent immigration in.

Guys if someone tells you stuff like why do "male desis..." it shows that they do not have a high opinion of desis.

If you take your I140 approval to NJ DMV, They will get you driving license renewed. Not sure about timing. But one of my friends got 3 years license on based of I-140 approval.

You are enjoying your 2 year EAD because of the hard work of our Admin fix campaign in 2008. Please stop blaming the organization. If you wish to lead it, come forward and take charge of your state chapter as a start, lead and deliver results. IV is everyone and each member's responsibility.

Best way to get more immigrants to participate in advocacy efforts by immigrationvoice.org for legal immigration is by communicating to international student organizations of various universities around virginia, maryland, washingtondc,west virginia north and south carolina. Arranging busses for the students is not a bad idea. Ronhia, I appreciate your comments. It needs conviction, dedication and consistent efforts to make such accomplishments. Moreover it also demonstrates the character of a person, who can motivate and inspire other kids in a positive way.. especially in an environment full of negative distractions.
If spelling bee competition is considered merely as just cramming the dictionary, as you rightly said we need to really spend some time looking beyond your own shell.
When you open a magazine, for sure, you tend to come across pages that may not be of interest to you. We skip the page and move on rather whining with words (yucky, stupid, senseless) that are inappropriate.
"Winning a national competition is not so great"... again it depends on what is so great to you !!!..

Yes, my Bachelor and Master's are in same/related discipline. I think you can use any education evaluator but make sure that are aware of Indian Education System. We have responded to the RFE. I will post the outcome for the benefit for all.

Two of my friends relocated to India since the beginning of this year after spending 8-9 years and they had green cards too from 2004.
These guys had good jobs with a good pay but options in India were just much better to ignore.
Just food for thought for people who think that only in US can we make or break our life and careers. There are other places on Earth too where people live and be happy.

They obtained authorization to file the lawsuit. They had it prepared to file and received good response from possible plaintiffs. It was possibility of good strong case by AILA that deterred USCIS to reverse the decision without a formal lawsuit. This is exactly what we need to further our cause. USCIS could care less about other petty tricks. They will only understand language of laws/court. For that we need congress to pass laws favoring us.
Our decision to send flowers was initiated around 2-3 July and the first of flowers were booked to be sent the same day.
