Are you sure that you would get back what ever you paid for the policy?. LIC in India is different story than western insurance companies.No Ins. company gives back what you paid on whole life, Please make sure how much you get back when policy matures.

Pappu no need to ask People to do something. We all, includiing me want others to do the work and we just want to make annonymous remarks blaming IV. We must admit that we really like doing this. :) The original poster Endlesswait came to the site and blamed IV for not doing anything and went away without doing anything. This dude AlbertPinto is just saying many times that IV is not doing anything but is not doing anything himself. You have asked him to do somehing, let us see if he really does something.

They have stopped issuing intrim EAD from local office.
According to this from Murthy:
Generally, one may apply for an interim EAD card, if the EAD application has been pending more than 90 days if there is not an unanswered Request for Evidence (RFE) on an I-140, I-485, or I-765 that is pending with the USCIS for the applicant. The interim EAD may be obtained at a local USCIS office. To obtain an interim EAD, two USCIS-specified photographs and the 485 and EAD receipt notices are needed.

I am no expert here but know that most of my friends did not have priority date current but were getting EAD/AP all the time. So once filed and accepted (receipt#) I am sure you would get an EAD/AP (the first one would come quickly 2-3 months) then extentions of EAD/AP might have a different outcome.

1) Find solution to employment based greed card retrogression
2) Labor delay in the backlog centers.
All the members of this non-profit organization are facing severe problems due to these issues. We have started the awareness drive and professional strategic help (lobbying) efforts have started for the new Comprehensive immigration reform bill due on the floor of the Senate and House in Spring of-06. To make a difference and to have the new law passed in the way the current visa retrogression & Backlog center delays cane be addresssed with the new bill, I would request you to please spread this message or forward the email to as many people as possible.

This flyer is to create awareness for this effort and add to the ongoing membership drive for http://www.immigrationvoice.org to find solution to Green Card Retrogression problem as well as the backlog centers. I and many folks in this forum have seen very few approvals for this category. How come USCIS says that this category is over subscribing the visa quota. Why they are moving un used visas to EB2 (no offense) why not for EB3?

So looks like only the renewal will have a delay. First-timers won't face much difficulties.
It might be a problem for those people working on EAD and waiting for renewal since they can't work if the renewal does not come in time. Why does USCIS not allow grace period for people to work based on receipt , the same way it does for H1b??

I requested IV to help us on this just like how IV did for the EAD cause. We all appreciate how much IV has done for us and helped in getting EAD renewed on time for so many people, may be this is something that they can take up. Here is Pappu's response for my request..

yes my case rejected due to number of years of education.
My case they rejected because i have 3 year Bsc and 2 year master now funny thing is that i know my friend who did similar course from same university but he did same master degree like me but in part time so he complete in 3 years and he got approval in 2009.

He simply says, we are in this mess, because the lenders were very lenient. Fed measures such as interest rate cut and pumping money into the banking system is causing the dollar to fall thus further weakening the economy.
Let alone threatening him on buying homes and cure the economic woes in a jiffy, with this kind of intelligent appraisal of the much-respected Fed chief, someone from IV should also volunteer to replace him as Fed Chief if he feels the heat. Still if he does not oblige, then we should stop filling gas (thereby worsening the crisis).
I say, we all write to Bernake that some 10, 000 immigrants will buy homes if we all get a GC. 10, 000 may or may not buy a home, but let us just polish the numbers a little bit. 10,000 * 300,000 (average home price) = 1 million billion dollars . Actually the total figure is 3 billion $$; enough to give a massive jolt to the sagging economy. I think we should also write to Wall Street journal and all major news paper organizations about this.

some of us are working under very abusive circumstances and i'm sure the interviewer will understand your reasons for leaving earlier.
i think the whole fraud/stay 6 months thing is just another ploy for some employers to keep using some of us for longer.

EB1 or EB2 or EB3 is created by USCIS. We are just applicants. We were not asked to give our 2 cents to frame the rules.
So there is absolutely no logic for us to fight among self. Target is USCIS. EB2 can raise their concerns, EB3 can raise their concerns or both can do it together. Lets get that straight.
