This is not to put you down but to help you. How long have you been in the US? If more than 1 year, I would suggest taking a course to improve your written and spoken English. It is way too bad. :o and will help you in the long run in case your Eb3 gets approved and you stay as PR in the USA.
2 year back my I-140 got rejected due to same reason 3+2 degree. I have 3 years Bsc in Computer science and 2 years Master of Computer Mgmt. They raise the question on 3 year Bachealor dagree. My lawyer send the reply along with degree evaluation and we try to say my 3+2 equal to 4+2 of USA and USCIS didn't buy this argument. after that lawyer told me that no hope in MTR or appeal. So we file again in Eb3.
Now i see based on your reply if have taken this approach in appeal then i might have got approval in appeal.

These USINPAC folks are shameless creatures who will take credit for the sun shining tomorrow morning. Lets send this guy Sanjay Puri, Robinder Sachdev and his fraudsters team a dictionary so that he knows how to spell IMMIGRATION correctly even if he has some malicious thoughts and actions in his mind. All they are good at is to do photo oppotunities and do these frauds where they claim to have worked or be working on an issue. I can also do the fund raisers and get photos taken. But there is where it stops with USINPAC. The politicians walk away with the money and turn their back on them and these guys start looking for the next politician to do a fund raiser for and get photo opportunity. How much more foolish can this get??

Guys,
It looks like whosoever used the convenient e-file method for EAD renewal application got scrwed by USCIS.
It is ridiculous to receive the FP appointments after 1 month of filing and then for the same thing USCIS issuing RFE suggesting they did not receive RFEs.
IV core can we address these online EAD renewal issues to our USCIS contacts?
I mean people are using EAD for their jobs, their is no interim EAD and USCIS is not following the law for issuing the EAD within 90 days of the receipt date.
Here are my details:
PD: EB-3 I June 2003.
EAD renewal e-file: July 02nd 2008
Support docs: sent on july 02 nd 2008, received by USCIS on 07/08/2008
Paper receipts: received on July 11th 2008
FP notice: August 08th 2008
RFE for FP: August 08th 2008
FP schedule: Aug 22nd 2008..Planning to visit USCIS local office for the FP apointment.

Two days back I searched "Immigration Voice" and "immigrationvoice.org", it gave no results. As I posted in this thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?p=9527#post9527) here on IV, I suggested that we should modify the meta tags of IV site and expose them to search engines.

You have a little tricky situation at hand, but you'll be okay if what you wrote is true - Your employer will not revoke your pending I-140. Not only that, they have to be nice enough to respond to any RFEs that come for your case. they can state that the imimgration application they filed for you is for a future position.
Also, USCIS has a guideline about these cases. They are supposed to see if your I-140 was 'approvable' if it had been adjudicated within 180 days or before you leave the company, which I think it should be.
I understand there are some anxious days ahead for you, but If I had to bet, I would bet on successful result of your case in the end :).
Just make sure that your old employer doesn't revoke your I-140

I opted for the CP option as well. My I-140 was approved in Oct 06 and thats when my attorney received the package for Consular processing from NVC.
Although my PD is not current yet, my lawyer asked me to pay the fees so that they can send the packet back to NVC. I am not sure what to do as my PD is not current yet.

Regarding medical insurance, your company has to offer you COBRA..you will end up paying almost twice the premium that you have been paying so far, but it would still be better than you footing the delivery charges (10k - 25K). Continue CORBA atleast till the deliver and post-partum - for as long as possible..
Terminating you in your ninth month pregnancy is probably against the law, i think if you can prove it, you might be able to sue your employer, check your local state laws..

When adding my wife to my medical coverage provided by my employer, my wife was pregnent, I did a bit of reading up, most of the group insurance policies offered by employers does not consider pregnancy as pre-exisitng condition. That is the major benefit of group insurance policies. If your husband is working in the west, Kaiser
is the way to go!
As mentioned in the above post, employer should offer CORBA, which can be your backup.
Always remember that tough times will always pass!! just hang in there!

There are areas in USA where there is no appreciation at all in the real estate market , and not everybody is lucky enough to get the jobs immediately after coming on to the bench ., on H1B VISA.
In my opinion , 90% of the people on this forum have got all plans and ideas on what to do if there is no GC.But 100% of the peoples plans will be more successful ..if there is GC in hand.
