But I think it's thanks to CBN who pulled the consulate to Hyd when they were debating to have the consulate in Hyd or Bangalore. From what I know YSR govt just boomed up the realty prices but nothing else, though realty went up in other parts of the country too.
PS: I'm not very sure if it was CBN who got the consulate to Hyd but just expressed my thoughts as we are talking about consulate/Hyd/how proud we should be etc in this thread.For those who know better or disagree with me please feel free to do so by posting in the thread but not by giving red/accompanying mssgs. It is all about number game and you(IV or other lobby groups) may not have the # to make lot of noise for that to happen.
I know EAD is not for CP filers today. I also believe EAD is one of the things that USCIS can issue with an admin fix.

for application original signature
identity documents
i efiled my 765 and on aug 3rd i got my rfe , i took print out of efiled copy signed it and wrote a cover letter and attached ead copy,ssn copy and passport copy
and sent it.
they received my response but havent updated my case yet...waiting for it..
please let me know anyone else has similar issues and what was the result..

I filed my i 140 and i 485 on Dec 23rd 2003 under EB3 category. I think my labor was filed under EB3 category. My Priority date is Mid August 2003. After 180 days of filing (around Nov 2004) I left my sponsoring company and joined another company with similar Job responsibility (to avail AC21), But didn't get my H1b transferred to new company. My new job require Master degree and 5 years of experience. I have acquired my master degree before joining my new company. I got married recently and Ofcourse I can't file for my wife's i 485 since I am from India and visa numbers are not available.
Can I get my H1Bvisa transferred to new employer if he is willing to sponsor?
Can I file another i 485 under EB2 as my new job requires Master degree?

My I-140 and I-485 also has different A numbers. I had 2 more approved I-140s which has different A numbers as well. How and when will get consolidated to a single file?

I disagree...I think our next steps should be letters/webfaxes/phone calls to senators and Congressmen/women.
The reason why the flower protest news gained some legs was because it was unique. Lets not over do things. Now that we have somewhat of the media coverage, especially in NY times & Washington Post, we should write letters to senators/congress and request assistance.

Hi, I have 3 yrs exp. as a software engineer. I have a master's degree . In order to be qualified for EB2, which is better to be put on the job ad, BS+5 or MS+2? Based on my understanding:
BS+5: BS is believed to be qualified enough for the software engineer position. But BS+5 may not be qualified for EB2?
MS+2: Master degree is good for EB2, but wondering if the DoL thinks it is necessary for a SE position.
Could you please give me advice on this? I really appreciate that.

I am on H4 visa. Applied for 485 in june 2007 and got my EAD and AP last month.
Unfortunately I also applied for H1 visa in march 2007, and it got approved now. I told the employer that I will work on EAD and don't need my visa.
He is now blackmailing me to pay the amount or he will give negative feedback/comments/reason for me in H1 cancellation letter.
I didnot sign any agreement with him.
Note: H1B not started yet. It will start from oct 1st.
What is the H1 cancellation form/letter?
Does it have any impact on my Green Card Process? Please Advise.

She need to have AP in hand before leaving the country. I would suggest to take an INFOPASS and go the local office tell them the situation, they should be able to give you the AP there.

As many of us get ready to use AC21 to switch from current employers, i wanted to get your feed back on a very common contartual obligation.
My contract with my desi consultant basically says
"Agreement Not to Compete. While I am employed by Employer, and for ONE years/ 12 months afterward, I will not directly or indirectly participate in a business in a similar capacity that is similar to a business now or later operated by Employer in the same geographical area. This includes participating in my own business or as a co-owner, director, officer, consultant, independent contractor, employee or agent of another business.
In particular, I will not:
(i) Solicit or attempt to solicit any business or trade from Employer's actual or prospective customers or clients; or
(ii) Divert or attempt to divert business away from Employer;"
Now my employer had nothing to do with me getting my clients, i do my own marketing and negotiationas, but of course the employer signs on all the papers. Will i still have to change clients when i switch employer?
