Walmart Sex Discrimination Lawsuit At Unsympathetic Supreme Court


According to ABC News, the U.S. Supreme Court, looked at Walmart employees with great skepticism for filing suit against the retail giant for sexual discrimination. The Judiciary Report is concerned Walmart employees are not going to get a fair shake at the Supreme Court, who usually sides with the rich.

However, employee after employee at Walmart are telling the same story, of men being paid twice as much and being promoted over females. This cannot be a coincidence, but culture at the company. Everyone should be treated equally in the workplace. Advancement should solely be based on achievement, not gender.

Several Supreme Court justices seemed skeptical today of the arguments made by an attorney on behalf of female plaintiffs that they should be allowed to band together and sue Walmart for sex discrimination.
